What are a Neighborhoods & Networks?
Neighborhood Networks (N2s) exist to see the inviduals involved and the communities where they meet transformed by the Gospel. N2s are not primarily affinity based groups, support groups, activists groups, bible studies, or weekly gatherings (although all those elements may exist in a N2), rather a group of people living as a “family of missionary disciples”. When we grasp this idea our networks become the primary vehicle for care, fellowship, discipleship, and mission in our church and community.
What Will You Do With Your N2?
Neighborhood Networks are all about fulfilling Christ’s commandment to love God and love our neighbor. They are groups of 10-30 people who gather weekly to discuss faith, live life together and serve their neighborhoods. Typically N2s gather for a meal and study a few times a month and serve and play together a few times a month.
Who Should Join A N2?
Neighborhood Networks are designed to meet the needs of people in all stages of faith. They are for people who are seeking as well as people who are mature in their faith. If there is not a group that meets in your general neighborhood, please don’t be shy, feel free to join any group that fits your schedule and style. You don’t have to be a part of Owensboro Christian to be a part of a N2.
