A Model church
Of all the churches we read about in the New Testament, only one is described as a “model” church (1 Thessalonians 1:7). The church in Thessalonica began under less-than-ideal circumstances but grew to have a resounding impact through their region and the world. We’re spending this fall studying Paul’s first letter to this church to see what they can teach us about honoring and serving Christ in our day.
