“The two shall become one flesh. This mystery is profound, and I am saying that it refers to Christ and the church.”

Ephesians 5:31–32 (ESV)

  • Love is powerful, costly, and worth protecting. (Song of Solomon 8:6-7)

  • Sex is God’s gift, designed for covenant, not convenience. (Hebrews 13:4)

For Him:

What helps you feel most respected and appreciated by me lately?

How can I better support you emotionally or practically this season?

For Her:

What helps you feel most loved, safe, and connected in our relationship?

What would help you rest more and feel more peace in this season?

Live It Out This Week

• Choose one way to honor your spouse intentionally—through words, service, or affection.

• Choose one way to honor God’s design for love and purity in your marriage.

• Speak gratitude out loud every day this week for something your spouse reflects about Christ.

Pray It Out Loud

God, thank You for the gift of love and marriage. Teach us to honor You with our bodies, our hearts, and our commitments. Help us to protect what is sacred, to wait when we should, and to be faithful where You have called us. Shape our love to reflect Your love—strong, patient, and enduring. We place our relationship in Your hands. In Jesus name, Amen.
